Shift Spinal Health Clinic Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by Shift Spinal Health Clinic (“we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 119-121 Grange Road, Allenby Gardens, SA 5009, Australia, including in-clinic chiropractic services, consultations, and interactions with our website (www.shiftspinalhealth.com.au). By accessing our services or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services or website.
1. Services Provided
a. Chiropractic Services
We provide chiropractic care, including assessments, treatments, and referrals, in accordance with the Code of Conduct for Chiropractors set by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Chiropractic Board of Australia.
Services are delivered by qualified, AHPRA-registered chiropractors at our clinic in Allenby Gardens, SA.
b. Appointments
Appointments can be booked in person, by phone (08 8340 1000), email ([email protected]), or via our website (if applicable).
You agree to provide accurate personal and health information to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Late arrivals may result in shortened appointments to respect other patients’ schedules, with no reduction in fees.
c. Cancellations and No-Shows
Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee equivalent to the full appointment cost, at our discretion.
Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on future bookings.
2. Fees and Payment
Service Fees: Fees for chiropractic services are provided at the time of booking or consultation. Fees are subject to change without notice.
Payment: Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments. Medicare or private health insurance claims may be processed, subject to eligibility.
Refunds: Refunds are not provided for completed services unless required by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) (e.g., for services not delivered as agreed or unfit for purpose). Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
Overdue Accounts: Unpaid invoices may incur additional fees, and we reserve the right to engage a collection agency for outstanding amounts.
3. Patient Responsibilities
Accurate Information: You must provide complete and accurate health information, including medical history, current conditions, and medications, to ensure safe treatment.
Compliance: Follow treatment plans and recommendations provided by our chiropractors. We are not liable for adverse outcomes due to non-compliance.
Conduct: You agree to behave respectfully toward our staff and other patients. Disruptive or abusive behavior may result in termination of services.
4. Website Use
Access: Our website (www.shiftspinalhealth.com.au, www.shiftspinalhealth.com) provides information about our services, booking options, and resources. Use of the website is subject to these Terms.
Content: All website content, including text, images, and logos, is owned by Shift Spinal Health Clinic or licensed for use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify content without our written permission.
Online Booking: If available, online booking requires accurate information. We reserve the right to cancel bookings made with false or incomplete details.

5. Liability and Disclaimers
Chiropractic Services: We strive to provide high-quality care in line with AHPRA standards, but results are not guaranteed. Chiropractic care carries inherent risks, which will be discussed during consultations.
Limitation of Liability: To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services or website use, except as required under the ACL.
Website Accuracy: While we aim to keep website information accurate, we do not guarantee its completeness or timeliness. Use the website at your own risk.
