Chiropractic Care
Rebuild
Settle it, then build the strength to keep it. A structured, supervised program combining hands-on chiropractic care with progressive strength work, coached by your clinician throughout. We offer it to a particular kind of patient, and your assessment is where we work out whether that is you.

Is this you?
Rebuild is not for everyone.
We do not put every patient on a program, and we do not think everyone should be on one. Rebuild asks something of you, so we offer it to people who recognise themselves in most of the following.
You have a complex or persistent spine problem
Not a passing tweak that settles in a week. Something that keeps returning, limits what you do, or has been given a name by a scan or a specialist.
You have already tried other things
Rest, medication, hands-on treatment, general exercise. You have been through the cycle of feeling better, then flaring up again, and you are looking for something with more structure behind it.
It keeps coming back, no matter what you try
You settle it, it flares again. You are stuck in the flare-settle-flare cycle, and you want to break it rather than keep patching it.
You want to take control of it
You are prepared to do the work rather than have it done to you. Rebuild involves coached strength training and a program you follow between visits.
You want a clear path, not open-ended visits
You want to know what the plan is, what is being measured, and where you are up to, rather than booking in again and again without a sense of direction.
If you read that list and recognised yourself, Rebuild is the conversation worth having at your assessment.
Clinically, who it suits
Built around persistent mechanical problems.
Alongside the criteria above, Rebuild is built for particular presentations. These are the situations where a few visits and some rest were never going to be enough.
Recurrent mechanical back pain
Back pain that keeps returning from how the spine moves and loads, rather than a single injury. It settles, then comes back, often off less and less each time.
Facet joint pain
The facet joints are the small paired joints at the back of the spine that guide how you bend and twist. When they become irritated or stiff, they can cause focused back or neck pain, often worse when you arch back or turn.
Degenerative joint disease
The gradual wear-and-tear changes that build up in the spine's joints and discs over the years. It can bring stiffness, aching and reduced movement, and is a common cause of ongoing back and neck pain.
Your clinician will confirm at your assessment whether Rebuild is the right fit for your case.
How your recovery builds
Settle and build. Then protect.
Your program brings hands-on care and progressive strength work together as one plan rather than two separate phases. They overlap, each introduced at the point that suits you, and as you improve the focus shifts to keeping what you have built.
Settle
We start by calming the problem down with hands-on care, adjustment, soft tissue work and joint mobilisation, matched to how you present. This is the phase where the pain and guarding ease, so you can start moving and loading again.
Keeping the early sessions close together is what settles it fastest, and gives the strength work a calm base to build on.
Build
Settling it creates the window. Strength is what keeps it. You start with a coached one-on-one session in our clinic gym so your technique is set properly, then your program moves onto the app to follow between visits, advancing as your capacity grows.
Protect
As you progress, the work shifts from recovering to keeping. Ongoing care is on your terms, at whatever frequency suits where you have got to, and it is entirely optional. Some people carry on training with us, others graduate and get on with their lives. Both are fine.
The Shift Score
No fixed endpoint. A visible one.
People progress at their own rate, so we do not set a fixed endpoint. Instead we follow a structured protocol and re-check your markers every 4 weeks with the Shift Score, then adapt your program to what we find.
It means you are not taking our word for how you are tracking. Your progress becomes a number you can look at yourself, and compare against the last time we measured it.
Five markers, scored out of 100
Re-checked every 4 weeksEach marker is worth 20 points, and 80 is the benchmark we work toward together. Reaching it is what moves you on, rather than a date in the calendar. Some people get there sooner than expected, others need longer, and both are completely normal.
Back endurance
How long the muscles that support your spine can keep working before they fatigue.
Strength under load
How well you hinge and lift, which is what your back has to do in everyday life.
Movement confidence
How confident you feel moving and loading your back. Your report, in your words.
Nerve mobility
Whether the nerve is still being irritated by movement, or has settled.
Side and core endurance
How long you hold control through the side of your trunk, which stabilises the spine.
How each review works
Score, review, adapt.
Every 4 weeks we run the same measures again, so you are always comparing like with like.
We re-measure the same five markers, the same way, so the comparison is honest.
We sit down with the numbers, look at what has changed and what has not, and talk through why.
Your program is adjusted to match where you actually are, not where a template says you should be.

the way strength is.
Your program covers all of your chiropractic care sessions, full access to our clinic gym, and the rehab app, for as long as your program runs. Because that single weekly fee includes every visit, your cost per session works out well below a casual booking, and lower still in the early weeks when you come in most often.
There is no fixed term. It runs as a simple fortnightly direct debit, so you pay as you go and can stop whenever you choose.
We talk you through the program fee and how it works in person at your Report of Findings, once we know exactly what your case needs and before anything starts. The first step is simply a Spinal Health Assessment.
Our commitment
Honest care, every step.
We meet you where you are
We start with what your body can handle today and build from there, at a pace that works for you.
Honest care, always
We only recommend what is truly in your interest, never otherwise. If Rebuild is not right for you, we will say so. That is the Shift standard.
Before you book
The questions we get asked most.
If yours is not here, ask it at your assessment. Nothing on this page is meant to replace that conversation.
How often will I need to come in?
Most people start at two to three visits a week. That is the phase where the hands-on care is doing the most work, so the frequency is highest early on and eases as you progress.
Your clinician sets your schedule at your assessment, so you will know what it looks like before you commit to anything.
How long will I be on the program?
Three to six months is the typical range, and that is the mindset we ask you to come in with. Spinal tissue and strength both change slowly, and a program that respects that will serve you better than one built around a handful of visits.
That said, there is no fixed term. Your Shift Score guides when you are ready to move on, not the calendar. Some people get there sooner, some need longer.
Am I locked in?
No. You can cancel at any time. There is no lock-in contract and no minimum term to sign.
Your program runs as a simple fortnightly direct debit, and stopping it is a conversation with us, not a process you have to fight through.
We would rather you continue because the program is working for you than because you are contractually stuck in it.
Do I need to be on a program to see a chiropractor?
No. Plenty of people see us for hands-on care without ever going on Rebuild. If your back is stiff or sore and you just want it settled, you can book casual sessions on their own, one at a time or a few, with nothing else attached. We call that path Relief.
The one thing everyone needs first is a Spinal Health Assessment, so a clinician can confirm hands-on care is safe and right for your spine before your first session. Rebuild is there for people who want the hands-on care, the strength work and the progress tracking brought together into one plan, and we will not steer you onto it if that is not what you need.
What if it turns out to need more than we can offer?
Then we will tell you, and we will refer you.
We track your markers every 4 weeks precisely so this is a conversation based on evidence rather than opinion. If at any point another opinion or a different kind of care is the right call for you, we will say so directly and put you in front of the right person. Your clinical progress report goes with you, so your GP or specialist has the full picture of what has been tried and what changed.
What happens in the assessment?
The Spinal Health Assessment runs 45 to 60 minutes. Where it makes clinical sense on the day, your first treatment is included in that, so you leave having actually experienced our care rather than just hearing about it.
In that time we examine your spine, go through your history and any imaging you have, and talk about what you are trying to get back to.
We then take those findings away and work through them properly. At your second visit we sit down with you for your Report of Findings: what we found, what it means in plain terms, and what your plan would look like. We would rather give you a considered answer than an off-the-cuff one on the day.
That is also where we recommend a path. It may be Rebuild, it may be Relief, or it may be something else entirely, including a referral elsewhere if that is what your case calls for. Booking an assessment commits you to nothing beyond the assessment itself.
Do I need a referral or a scan first?
No referral is needed. You can book directly.
If you already have scans, bring them, as they help. If you do not have any and we think imaging would change our approach, we will discuss that with you rather than sending you off for it as a matter of routine.
What happens when I finish?
Once you reach the point where you are moving well and holding the strength you have built, you can step into Elevate, our continuation program, or you can simply graduate and get on with your life.
Both are fine. It is optional, there is no lock-in, and your clinician will talk you through the options at your graduation review.
If Rebuild is not you
Sometimes you just want to feel better.
Not everyone wants to rebuild, and not everyone needs to. Some people come in with an everyday ache or a stiff, sore back and simply want it to settle. No program, no tracking, no months of work. That is what Relief is for.
You come in when you need to, we ease the symptoms, and you get on with your life. It is care on your terms, at whatever frequency suits you. The one thing everyone needs first is an assessment, so a clinician can confirm the treatment suits your spine before you start.
Relief
Hands-on care aimed at easing your symptoms. Come in when you need to, book a few sessions, stop when you feel good. Nothing else attached.
Everyone starts with an assessment, so a clinician can confirm hands-on care is safe and appropriate for you before your first session.

Book a Spinal Health Assessment. Your clinician will examine your condition, talk through your history and what you want to get back to, and explain the problem in terms that make sense. From there we will recommend the right path, whether that is Rebuild, Relief, or something else entirely.
